PB Hot and Cold Water Pipe’s Features

1.It is light weight, flexible and easy to construct. The weight of PB pipe is about 1/5 of that of galvanized steel pipe. It is flexible and easy to carry. The minimum bending radius is 6D (D: pipe outer diameter). It adopts hot melt connection or mechanical connection, which is convenient for construction.

2. It has good durability, non-toxic and harmless. Because of its high molecular weight, its molecular structure is stable. It’s non-toxic and harmless and has a service life of not less than 50 years without ultraviolet radiation.

3.t has good frost resistance and heat resistance. Even at -20°C, it can maintain good low-temperature impact resistance. After thawing, the pipe returns to its original shape. Under the condition of 100℃, all aspects of performance are still maintained well.

4.It has smooth pipe walls and does not scale. Compared with galvanized pipes, it can increase water flow by 30%.

5.It is easy to repair. When the PB pipe is buried, it is not bonded to the concrete. When it becomes damaged, it can be repaired quickly by replacing the pipe. However, it is better to use casing (pipe in pipe) method for burying plastic pipes. Firstly, cover the PB pipe with PVC single-wall corrugated pipe, and then bury it, so that future maintenance
can be guaranteed.
