Introduction of PE Steel Belt Reinforced Pipe

PE steel belt reinforced pipe is a kind of polyethylene (PE) and steel belt melt composite winding forming structural wall pipe developed with reference to foreign advanced metal-plastic pipe composite technology. 

Pipe wall structure consists of three levels, spiral winding forming of high-strength steel belt as a reinforcing body, high-density polyethylene as a substrate, the use of unique manufacturing process, the steel belt and high-density polyethylene fusion into one, so that it has both the flexibility of the ring of the plastic pipe and the rigidity of the ring of the metal pipe, suitable for the long-term temperature of the medium is not greater than 45 ℃ of rainwater, sewage, waste water drainage systems and other drainage pipe projects.

Features of PE Steel Belt Reinforced Pipe

1. High ring rigidity and strong resistance to external pressure

Due to the PE steel belt reinforced pipe in the middle of the special ‘U’ type steel belt reinforcement, it has a very high rigidity, ring stiffness is ordinary plastic structural wall pipe 3-4 times.

2. Firm bonding of pipe wall

There is an adhesive resin transition layer between the steel belt and polyethylene (PE), the transition layer material makes the polyethylene (PE) and the steel belt to enhance the ability to combine, and there is a strong barrier to moisture, avoiding long-term use of corrosive steel belt.

3. Convenient construction, various connection methods, safe and reliable connection.

PE steel belt reinforced pipe has low requirements for foundation treatment, construction is not restricted by seasons and temperatures, and the pipe has good ring flexibility, light weight and convenient construction. Diversified connection methods can be used, such as heat-shrinkable sleeve connection, electro-thermal fusion tape connection, PE torch extrusion welding, etc., which can effectively guarantee the connection strength compared with other drainage pipe materials.

4. Superior corrosion resistance, good drainage circulation

PE steel belt reinforced pipe internal smooth, low friction damping coefficient, surface roughness coefficient is small, compared with the same inner diameter of the concrete pipe, cast iron pipe, etc., under the same conditions to improve the drainage capacity of more than 40%.
